Join us in London on 20 March, 6pm-late, for our Publisher Spring Meet in partnership with Ra & Olly
We’ve teamed up with independent distributor Ra & Olly for a Publisher Spring Meet, to be held in-person at London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA).
This is an opportunity for indie publishers to catch up, share ideas, and feel the print love. And we’ll have a panel session focusing on ‘How to market your magazine’, beginning at 7pm.

Nikki Simpson, International Magazine Centre (panel host)
Passionate about magazines and publishing, Nikki has worked in the industry since 2006 and founded the International Magazine Centre in 2018. The International Magazine Centre supports more than 160 small businesses working in magazine publishing through events, training, mentoring and more.
Andy Cowles, Cowles Media
Andy is a heavyweight design consultant, with a love for front cover redesign. He’s had roles as Editorial Development Director of Time Inc. UK; Creative Director of Mademoiselle for Condé Nast, and Creative Director of Rolling Stone – both in New York. He’s also a Guardian Masterclass trainer, a visiting lecturer on the UAL University MA programme, and the winner of the BSME Mark Boxer Award for lifetime achievement in the publishing industry.
Sophie Cross, Freelancer Magazine
Sophie is the founder of Freelancer Magazine — the community and quarterly magazine full of practical business advice for B2B and creative freelancers, with virtual community coworking and freelance business planning meetups. She’s also the creator of awesome online marketing and mindset courses for freelancers, founders and creatives.
Steve Watson, Stack Magazines
Steve is the director at Stack, which sends out a different independent magazine every month – subscribers never know what they’ll get next, but they do know it will be a beautiful, intelligent magazine they probably wouldn’t otherwise have seen.
