This is a chance for indie publishers to catch up, share ideas, and feel the print love. And we’ll have a panel session focusing on ‘Confidence in Publishing’, beginning at 7pm.

Nikki Simpson, International Magazine Centre (panel host)
Passionate about magazines and publishing, Nikki has worked in the industry since 2006 and founded the International Magazine Centre in 2018. The International Magazine Centre supports more than 190 independent publishers and people working in magazines, through events, training, mentoring and more.
Vince Medeiros, TCO London
Vince is the founder of culture magazine Huck, and the publisher of Little White Lies and Sandwich. He’s worked on brand publishing projects for Levi’s, Vans, Google and many others.
Vince wrote and produced feature-length documentary Rio Breaks, a Sundance Channel co-production, and has executive produced multiple shorts for Huck and Little White Lies.
He’s a lecturer in Promotional Media at Goldsmiths College, University of London. His academic work focuses on the political economy of branded content and the convergence of journalism and promotional practices.


Megan Schertler, In Real Life Media
Megan is the founder of In Real Life Media, a business development agency for independent magazines. Previously the Publishing Director of Highsnobiety, Schertler has launched, rebranded, and managed some of the most iconic titles of the last decade, including Fantastic Man, Interview, CR Fashion Book, CR Men, Document Journal, COS Magazine, and Hypebeast.
Fernando Augusto Pacheco, Monocle
São Paulo-born Fernando is Monocle Radio’s Senior Correspondent. He is also the music curator of the station, and host of a weekly radio show about the world of print media, The Stack.
Fernando oversees the cultural coverage on Monocle Radio, and offers insights about Brazil and Latin America too. Fernando is also a frequent contributor to Monocle Magazine. Formerly, he worked at Dutch fashion publication Fantastic Man, FT Weekend’s Life & Arts and Esquire UK.
