The Mag Meet: Launching and running an event – 20 August

Join us on 20 August, 3.30pm-5pm BST/ 10.30am-12pm EDT/ 7.30am-9am PDT to learn how to launch and run and event

Think launching an event is too much to add to the mix?

Come to our Mag Meet with International Magazine Centre director Nikki Simpson to hear how running an event can be as simple as you want it to be.

Launching and running an event

Would your readers like to meet you and each other in real life? Running an event connects people to your brand, bringing loyalty and building your community.

Launching an event can be as easy as you’d like it to be.

We’ll cover:

  • Why you should run an event
  • Different kinds of events and different kinds of audience
  • Ways to make money from an event
  • Thinking strategically and planning
  • Marketing an event
  • Preparation for the day – shaping the guest experience

Who it’s for

This Mag Meet is suitable for independent publishers who shy away from running events. There’ll be tips on how to make the best guest experience, how to bring your magazine to the fore, and how to find the time and gumption to make it all work at the same time as publishing your magazine.
