The Mag Meet: Making the Case for Print – 8 October

How do you explain why print is worth making?

Join us on 8 October to hear from Kaye Symington, CMO at Newspaper Club and co-founder of Glasgow Print Fair.

Print has never really gone away. But in 2026, we’re seeing a renewed interest in what printed matter can do.

At Newspaper Club, individuals, brands and publishers are finding their niche and creating small-scale publications that speak directly to their audiences. They’re using newspapers and magazines to celebrate launches, share ideas, build communities and make something that feels tangible.

So why print, and why now?

Join us for an informal conversation about:

  • Whether we really need to make the case for print at all
  • The kinds of things people are printing, from personal projects to brand publications
  • Why people are turning to print now
  • What print can do that digital can’t
  • The value of making something physical and giving it to someone
  • How to talk about the value of print to clients, audiences and collaborators
