What do you do for a living?
I’m the Head of Marketing and Circulation at Newtrade Media. We help independent news and convenience retailers grow sales by providing them with advice and insights, across our portfolio of products – print, digital and events.
What does that mean day-to-day?
I can be meeting with our distributor to discuss our circulation strategy, visiting retailers in-store to understand more about what they need, or leading a panel at one of our industry events.
I also work with the editorial and design team to create the latest issue’s front cover, creating marketing campaigns that support our commercial strategy…and of course, spending time with my fantastic team!
What do you love about magazines?
I love the experience of reading a magazine! I like that you can really concentrate on a particular topic, whether for work or fun, without the distractions you get from reading things digitally.

I met Rick Parfett from Status Quo backstage at the Grand Prix in Kuala Lumpur!
