What do you do for a living?
I help magazines find their readers. Officially, I’m a newsstand sales consultant, which means I work with publishers to get their titles onto shelves and into people’s hands.

What does that mean day-to-day?
It’s a mix of detective work and coaching. I dive into sales numbers, figure out what’s working, and help publishers adjust so their magazines don’t just sit on the shelf but actually get picked up.
What do you love about magazines?
Magazines are like little adventures waiting on a rack—you never know what you’ll find until you flip through one. I love the way they connect us to new ideas and communities, often in beautifully unexpected ways.
Tell us one thing not many people know about you?
Every summer, I swim daily in my local lake. It’s my secret superpower for staying sane.
