Meet the Retailers
Every magazine publisher would love to sell more copies of their magazine, and if you’re on the newsstand, sometimes this can feel like a dark art.
Come and chat to our four panellists to hear their insight on:
- What makes it easier to sell a magazine?
- What can publishers do to help?
- What info should a publisher pitch to a retailer – what’s important, useful or interesting?
- What can publishers expect when working with retailers direct, and through a distributor?
There’ll also be time to ask questions.
Our panellists

Nicola Hamilton, Founder and Creative Director of Issues magazine shop in Toronto, and Creative Director of Serviette magazine.
Jeremy Leslie, Founder of the magCulture indie magazine shop and creative consultancy in London, with 40 years of magazine making experience.

Kate Daw, Head of Marketing at Newtrade Media, working with an audience of more than 35,000 UK independent convenience retailers.
Evan Morse, Head of Global Business Development at the digital newspaper and magazine subscription platform, PressReader.
